Review of the book "My Not So Perfect Life" by Sophie Kinsella:
Katie Brenner's life is an amazing swirl of all things chic and bustling. She has got the perfect, Instagram-worthy London life: hot chocolate with marshmallows on a perfect sunny day; a commute to a high end place in one of the best companies in the world; coming back to a warm food and bed; eating out in the best-out-there restaurants.
But that is all a facade.
'This' is the actual grim reality of Katie
Brenner:
She lives in an apartment that can only fit her bed and nothing else, not even a cupboard; she lives with flatmates that are not as cool as she wants them to be; she works at the junior most tier at the company, and she probably has the worst commute to her workplace.
And add to this, she has been let go from her job by her demented, pretentious boss called Demeter.
But Katie is not one to back down for she has resolved to get back at her boss and get back the life she has always dreamed of living, in London. But may be one that is not so Instagram perfect!
